Learn to Dive
Here in Cyprus you can learn to dive with PADI which is a world wide established diving body/school. In essence you pay money and get qualified. So long as you pass the medical and exams of course. As its a world standard then you can carry your qualification(s) world wide and dive anywhere that flys the PADI banner so to speak.Other bodies are BSAC the British Sub Aqua Club which is based on British Diving standards and is Club membership type outfit. There are a number of BSAC clubs in Cyprus but most are Forces affiliated. NAUI is another body that is a world recognised outfit but i have yet to see the NAUI flag in Cyprus.
